I’ve always wanted to travel the world–in part because I read far too many historical fiction novels as a kid– and love to image embarking on a journey with my life stowed in sturdy, world-weary trunks. As much as I loved my Lisa Frank duffle back in the day, let’s be honest: nothing could really compare with those antique trunks from days of yore, spilling over with rich fabrics from far-off places.
Now Mulberry has sparked my jealousy all over again with their new Travel Bag line inspired by globetrotting romanticism. Inspired by vintage steamer trunks and the locales they visited, the bags come in animal hair, lambskin, and embossed lizard print, framed by metal-tipped corners and their signature buckles.
I’m particularly taken with the lizard print. Not that I’ll be able to afford it while it’s still cool, but might as well show my appreciation anyway
